Urgent 24/7 Crisis Support

  • If you’re experiencing a crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, please get in touch with the Samaritans for support. The call is free; please dial 116 123 to speak directly to a counsellor or visit their website at www.samaritans.org. They are open 24/7/365.
  • If someone is in immediate danger of harming themselves or others, please ring 999
  • To find a local NHS urgent mental health helpline for adults and young people, please phone 111 and ask for the Mental Health option. Or visit www.nhs.uk/service-search/mental-health/find-an-urgent-mental-health-helpline. Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You’ll speak to a local NHS mental health service professional if you call. They can discuss your current mental health needs and provide access to further support if needed.
